The Urgent Care Service is a walk-in service suitable for non-emergencies not of a life threatening nature but needing urgent attention. These may be in the form of a superficial laceration that can be stiched under a local anaesthetic, suspected fracture in an ambulatory person, foreign bodies, suspected ruptured tendons or ligaments, suspected dislocations in a mobile person, cellulitis, small abscesses and non-specific limping conditions. 

If an injured person is unable to walk, talk or has lost some consciousness or appears to be confused, they need to to be treated as an emergency

Musculskeletal care involves the care of conditions of the limbs and the back. This a multi-dsciplinary service provided by Specialised doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and orthotists. 

Conditions we manage maybe bony or soft tissue such as muscle, tendons and ligaments. The areas often affected the neck and back, the arms and hands, the legs, ankle and feet. Problems of the head and brain, the chest, abdomen and groin do not normally fall under MSK but maybe dealt with under General Practice. Common conditions include neck pain, back ache, joint pain as in shoulder pain, elbow pain, wrist pain, hip pain, knee pain, ankle and foot pain. Other problems may be related to loss of function of a limb part, stiffness, swelling and deformity. 

Examples of common conditions we manage are plantar fascitis, painful bunions, plantar warts, archilles tendinitis, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, rotator cuff syndrome, tennis elbow and golfer's elbow.

Mutova Medical Concierge Practice is a our membership scheme that allows members to pay for medical service in the form of an annual or monthly retainer and guarantees they get personalised medical care. The member registers as a patient and opts in to paying a set amount of money, which can be monthly or annually and are then able to access prescribed medical services from the Practice. Basic benefits after registration will be the ability to access medical service with fees payable in the future. There is no lapse of membership when a member fails to pay the retainer but the account simply gets downgraded to Basic Benefits. The member can resume the normal services after starting to pay their retainer fees.
